Art Happens Here!

Art Center’s Planned Instruction

The Center will offer instruction in two and three-dimensional activities for all ages in drawing, painting, sculpture, and clay, geared to each individual. Art requiring more complex processes such as printmaking will happen in an appropriate classroom.

Learning about Art requires that lines are flexible between the Art Center and the exhibitions in the Museum. A great deal can be gained from analyzing how previous artists have solved visual problems with their works of art, so, at times,  the Museum will be a classroom for artists while sharing the galleries with visitors enjoying an art exhibition on a particular theme.

Studio facilitators will be available to work with art students. Creative endeavor will receive assistance in observation, understanding principles of design and visual thinking skills.

The Museum’s exhibits will be a classroom for students, artists and visitors. A different theme will be chosen for each exhibition.
